General Questions

What is Galactic Ink Club?

We’re a retro-futurist art and apparel shop featuring original designs inspired by mid-century optimism, sci-fi vibes, and cool cats (sometimes literally). All artwork and designs are created in-house and printed on demand.

How are your products made?

Every item is created on demand by our professional print partners.
This means:

  • No mass production

  • No wasted inventory

  • Your item is printed just for you

It’s slower than big-box retail, but it’s more sustainable.

 

Orders, Shipping & Delivery

How long does it take to get my order?

Because everything is made to order:

Fulfillment time:
2–5 business days for most items

Shipping time (after fulfillment):

  • U.S.: 3–6 business days

  • Canada: 5–12

  • Europe: 5–10

  • Australia/NZ: 7–15

  • International: 7–20

Delivery times are estimates and may vary seasonally.

Will my order arrive in multiple packages?

Possibly!
If you ordered different types of items (e.g., a mug + a sweatshirt), they may ship separately.
This is normal for print-on-demand orders and helps them arrive faster.

How do I track my order?

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your package is on the way.

What happens if my order is delayed?

Delays can happen due to weather, carrier issues, or seasonal volume.
If your tracking hasn't been updated in a few days, feel free to reach out and we’ll check on it.

 

Order Issues

My item arrived damaged or incorrect. What do I do?

We’re so sorry!
Please email us within 14 days with:

  • Your order number

  • A photo of the issue

  • A brief description

We’ll replace the item at no cost to you.

My tracking says “delivered,” but I didn’t receive anything.

Try:

  1. Checking with neighbors or household members

  2. Looking around mailboxes, porches, or side doors

  3. Waiting 24–48 hours (carriers often scan early)

If it still doesn’t appear, contact us and we’ll help look into it.

I entered the wrong address! Can you fix it?

If your order hasn’t shipped yet, email us right away and we’ll update the address.
If it has already shipped, we’ll help reship it once the package returns — additional shipping may apply.

 

Sizing & Product Details

What size should I order?

Each product page includes a detailed size chart.
We recommend measuring one of your favorite tees/sweatshirts and comparing it to the chart for best results.

Do your apparel items shrink?

Most items are pre-shrunk or made with high-quality cotton blends. Minimal shrinkage may occur—cold wash and low heat drying helps maintain longevity.

Are the colors accurate to the listing photos?

We do our best to represent colors accurately, but small variations may happen due to:

  • Screen brightness

  • Product material

  • Printing process

Colors are vibrant, long-lasting, and true to the artwork.

 

Sustainability & Materials

Are your products eco-friendly?

Yes! Our on-demand production reduces waste, and most apparel is printed using water-based, OEKO-TEX® certified inks with high-efficiency DTG printers.

What kind of printing do you use?

Mostly Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing:

  • Almost zero wastewater

  • Lower energy use

  • Vegan, water-based inks

  • Crisp and durable prints

Do you offer organic apparel?

When available, we offer GOTS or OCS certified organic cotton products.
We verify certifications directly with suppliers.

What packaging do you use?

All apparel ships in packaging made from 70%+ post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials.

Why does delivery take longer than traditional retail?

Because every product is made only when you order it — a more responsible and sustainable way to create.

 

Returns & Refunds

Can I return or exchange my item?

Because everything is printed on demand, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Wrong size ordered

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Style changes

If the item arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll replace it free of charge.

Because our items are printed on demand, returns cannot be accepted at our PO Box.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us first at galacticinkshop@gmail.com and we’ll arrange a replacement.

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds are generally issued in cases of:

  • Damaged items

  • Incorrect items

  • Lost packages

  • Items that cannot be fulfilled

All refunds go to the original payment method once approved.

 

Digital Downloads (Coming Soon)

Do you offer digital products?

Not yet — but digital art downloads are planned for the future.

Will I be able to use them commercially?

Digital items will be for personal use only, unless a separate license is offered.
